At Collections by Gaav Interieur, we select brands that share our love for design, craftsmanship, and timeless quality. Not an endless offering, but carefully chosen collections and objects that we fully support and would gladly use in our own interiors.
Serax is a Belgian design brand where creativity, craftsmanship, and functionality converge. Since 1986, the brand has collaborated with renowned international designers and makers on unique objects for interiors and the dining table.
For Collections, we select our favourite designs from the various Serax collections. We love the special materials, the artisanal character, and the collaborations with designers such as Kelly Wearstler, Alex Gabriels, Antoine Vandewoude, Paola Navone, and Roos van de Velde. Design objects that are not only beautiful to give as gifts but also deserve a place in your home for years to come.
Ajen is a Dutch home & body care brand that combines design, high-quality care, and conscious choices. The products are locally made in the Netherlands with a minimum of 97% naturally derived ingredients and are enriched with active botanical ingredients from Dutch nature. The refillable bottles are designed to be reused again and again.
For Collections, we chose Ajen because the brand demonstrates that an everyday care product can also be a beautiful design object. The stylish bottles are meant to be seen in your interior and turn a daily moment of use into a small moment of indulgence. A beautiful Dutch product to give and to receive.
&klevering is an Amsterdam-based design brand that has been adding colour, character and a touch of whimsy to interiors since 1992. Inspired by modern art and contemporary vintage, recognisable designs emerge that are functional and timeless, but above all never boring.
We chose &klevering for Collections because we believe an interior should be surprising every now and then. The playful shapes, outspoken colours and unexpected details add character to a space and provide a beautiful contrast to a calm base. Design objects that stand out, evoke a smile and are great fun to give as gifts.
TASCHEN is a German publishing house that has been publishing unique illustrated books on art, architecture, design, fashion, photography, travel, and pop culture since 1980. The richly illustrated books are made for browsing, drawing inspiration from, and to be given a beautiful place in the interior.
For Collections, we choose TASCHEN because of the combination of content, design, and accessible nature. For us, a beautiful coffee table book is more than a book: it is also a styling object that adds personality to an interior.
Caran d'Ache is a Swiss family business that has been known for its exceptional writing and drawing instruments since 1915. In their workshops in Geneva, over a hundred years of craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and timeless design come together. The classic appearance and attention to detail make their products true everyday objects that will last for years.
For Collections, we selected the special collaboration between Caran d'Ache and British designer Paul Smith. Paul Smith's characteristic colours give the classic Swiss design a playful, contemporary look. The pen and matching notebook together make a stylish gift for the desk, beautiful to look at and to use daily.
Matias Møllenbach is a Danish designer who combines timeless design with traditional craftsmanship. From his studio, he designs furniture and objects with a distinctive visual language, deliberately independent of fleeting trends. The designs are handcrafted in close collaboration with artisans, with great attention to material, form, and quality.
For Collections, we selected the Blister Bowl, a sculptural fruit bowl made of thick pressed glass. The design is inspired by the rounded shapes of fruit packaging and can be used on both sides. We love its simplicity and timeless character: functional as a fruit bowl, but equally beautiful as a design object in the interior even without contents.
Addison Ross is a British family-owned business known for colourful and characterful interior accessories since 1978. What once started with art and handmade photo frames grew into a recognisable design brand with a distinct love for colour, form and stylish utilitarian objects.
For Collections, we selected the iconic Bobbin and Chubbie salt and pepper mills and the rechargeable Bobbin table lamps. We love how Addison Ross combines functionality with distinctive design. The recognisable shapes and beautiful colours transform everyday objects into true eye-catchers that deserve to be seen, whether on the table, in the kitchen or on a beautifully styled cabinet.
Ester & Erik is a Danish family business that has been making high-quality designer candles since 1987. Traditional craftsmanship and contemporary Scandinavian design come together at their own factory in Silkeborg. The characteristic candles are carefully dipped, hand-coloured, and extensively quality-checked during the production process.
We choose Ester & Erik for Collections because even something as simple as a candle can become special through attention to form, colour, and craftsmanship. The elegant shapes and beautiful colours make the candles not only atmospheric when lit, but also a stylish part of the set table or interior.
LIND DNA is een Deens designmerk dat Scandinavische eenvoud combineert met natuurlijke en gerecyclede materialen. Het merk werd bekend met zijn karakteristieke Curve-vorm en het gebruik van gerecycled leer, dat wordt verwerkt tot functionele interieur- en tafelobjecten met een herkenbare, tijdloze uitstraling.
Voor Collections selecteerden we een aantal van onze favoriete ontwerpen waarin materiaal en functionaliteit mooi samenkomen. Van het Teak Tray Airy van gerecycled teakhout met leren inlay tot de iconische Curve onderzetters met bijpassende houten houder. We houden van de rustige vormgeving, warme materialen en het feit dat zelfs praktische gebruiksobjecten bij LIND DNA onderdeel worden van het interieur.
Gaav Interieur is our own bespoke furniture company, where we have been designing and handcrafting interiors and furniture in our workshop since 2019. A love for wood, meticulous craftsmanship, and an eye for detail form the foundation of everything we create. From a complete custom interior to the smallest wooden object.
For Collections, we create a small selection of our own oak design objects. Each piece is handcrafted in our own workshop, with the same care and quality as our bespoke furniture. Beautiful, timeless objects where you can always appreciate the material and the craftsmanship.
Anovi is a company from Zeeland that brings together local culture and craftsmanship in unique objects for the table. From Zeeland, they design recognisable products inspired by the sea and the rich Zeeland culinary culture. Many of the objects are made of pure pewter and are cast by hand in the Netherlands.
We love the combination of beautiful and practical: unique utility objects that make the set table just a little more special. As a Zeeland brand, Anovi also has a personal meaning for us, and we are especially pleased to give this local craftsmanship a place within Collections.
